L'Edge Wavelength Processor (EWP) de Finisar permet la commutation et l'atténuation de canaux grace à la technologie LCOS (Liquid Crystal On Silicon) et fournit des fonctionalités avancées avec son logiciel embarqué. Il s'agit d'un Wavelength Selective Switch (WSS) adapté pour les applications 10 Gbit/s, 40 Gbit/s et au delà.

  • Commutateur 2x1
  • Supporte les grilles 50 GHz et 100 GHz à 40 Gbit/s
  • Commutation de la grille (option)
  • Fonctionnement simultané sur les grilles 50 GHz et 100 GHz (option)
  • Commutation individuelle de chacun des canaux avec possibilité de contrôle de l'atténuation entre 0 et 20 dB
  • Bande très plate à tous les niveaux d'atténuation
  • Versions bande C et bande L
  • Configuration "drop and continue" disponible
  • Fonction add/drop cascadable
  • Compatible avec les WSS DWP
  • Interface RS-232 et DPRAM
  • Mise à jour du firmware réalisable en fonctionnement
